Sea wind, deadlines and monsoon-washed office towers

We are a curated guide to where business travellers actually sleep in and around Mumbai: Bandra Kurla Complex, Nariman Point and Fort, Lower Parel and Worli, Andheri East around MIDC and SEEPZ, Powai, Goregaon beside the Nesco exhibition halls, Juhu for…

We are not the booking engine. Tapping See price hands you to app.impt.io, which aggregates more than eight million hotels worldwide and matches or beats the rate you would find elsewhere, so a ₹9,500 room in BKC stays…

Bandra Kurla Complex is the planned financial district: banks, consultancies, the Jio World Centre and an Aqua Line metro station, all walkable within G Block, and almost nothing open after ten at night.

Before you book

The questions we get most, answered with this month’s numbers.

01 How cheap can hotels in Mumbai actually get?

Off-peak, during the June to September monsoon, a clean three-star business room runs ₹1,100 to ₹2,200 a night. The two cheapest reliable pockets are Andheri East around Chakala and MIDC, minutes from Terminal 2, and Vashi in Navi Mumbai, where ₹1,800 buys the standard of room BKC charges ₹9,000 for.

02 When is the best time to visit Mumbai?

November to February is peak: dry, roughly 20 to 32C, and thick with conferences, so BKC rates push past ₹12,000. June, July and August are cheapest, with monsoon discounts of 30 to 40 percent. Late September and early October are the smart compromise, with rain easing and Andheri East still near ₹2,500.

03 Where should I stay on a first business trip?

Bandra Kurla Complex suits meetings in banking, law or consulting, since G Block is walkable end to end. Andheri East is the value pick, ten to twenty minutes from the airport and SEEPZ. Fort and Colaba suit anyone wanting heritage evenings, Kala Ghoda galleries and a ₹31 taxi hop to Nariman Point.

04 Do I need a car, and how do I get around?

Skip the car; parking in BKC and Lower Parel is punishing. Metro Line 3, the underground Aqua Line, links Aarey and BKC to Worli for ₹10 to ₹70. Suburban trains cost ₹5 to ₹20. Taxis start near ₹31 for 1.5 km, autorickshaws near ₹26, but autos do not run south of Mahim and Sion.

05 What catches business travellers out in Mumbai?

Ganesh Chaturthi, ten days in late August or September, is the thing to plan around: processions to Lalbaugcha Raja and immersions at Girgaum Chowpatty close arterial roads for hours and lift central rates. Maharashtra also keeps dry days on 26 January, 15 August and 2 October, when hotel bars serve no alcohol.

06 What does every booking removes a tonne of CO2 mean?

Every hotel booking made through this site funds one verified tonne of carbon removal, paid for by IMPT rather than by you. It is the same room at the same rate you would find booking direct or on any large platform. Nothing is added at checkout; the tonne is purchased and retired against your stay.
